Seeking Balance ("the app", "we", "us") is an audio app for poker mental-game training, operated by Jared Alderman. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Questions: support@jaredalderman.com.

Who this app is for

Seeking Balance is intended for adults 18 and older. It is not directed to children.

Information we collect

You provide

• Account info — your email address, and (if you sign in with Google or Apple) the name and email those services share with us.
• Your inputs — your "focus area" notes and self check-in ratings, your favorited sessions, and any feedback or session ideas you submit.

Collected automatically as you use the app

• Usage / progress — which sessions you complete, listening time, and similar in-app activity, so we can show your progress.
• Subscription status — whether you have an active trial, subscription, or lifetime access.
• Basic technical data — standard information needed to run the app reliably.

We do not use third-party advertising or analytics tracking SDKs, and we do not sell your personal information.

How we use your information

• To provide the app and your account, and to save your progress and preferences.
• To process and restore subscriptions and purchases.
• To respond to your feedback and support requests.
• To keep the service secure and working correctly.

How payments work

Purchases (monthly, annual, and lifetime) are processed by Apple App Store and Google Play — we never receive your full payment-card details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status; it receives a pseudonymous app user ID and purchase information, not your card data.

Service providers we use

We share data only with providers that process it on our behalf to run the app:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and audio storage (your account and app data).
• RevenueCat — subscription management.
• Apple / Google — sign-in and payment processing.
• Resend — delivers the feedback you submit to our support inbox.

These providers may process data outside your country. We do not share your data with third parties for their own advertising.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the app (You → Settings → Delete account), which permanently removes your account and associated data (progress, favorites, check-ins). You can also email support@jaredalderman.com to request deletion. See Delete your account for details.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g., GDPR in the EEA/UK, CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these, email support@jaredalderman.com.

Security

We use reputable providers and encrypt data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app.
